We hope that everyone in our industry is keeping well during these very strange times of Covid. The situation in Ireland is that we have been in Lockdown this time since the beginning of January, we are opening up very slowly. At the moment we are restricted to staying in our counties we cannot move around the country. All non essential shops,as well as bars and restaurants are closed. All activities are closed.Only by opening very slowly and by vaccinating people will the international travel restrictions be lifted and hopefully this will happen soon. At the moment we cannot say when this will happen.We will wait for guidance from the government on this. 

We in Gorey School Of English hope that by September Ireland will be back to some kind of normality and that our adult students and school groups will be able to come to Gorey and enjoy face to face English classes and also learn about our culture and visit all of the beautiful places around Ireland. Gorey town is in the sunny southeast of Ireland and only one hour from Dublin airport in case you haven't heard about our part of the country before we are close to some amazing beaches and also we are surrounded by beautiful countryside. We do not know what the situation with covid will be by September/October 2021 but once travel restrictions are lifted we will be ready to welcome students  safely to our Academy and our town. Our host families will also be very happy to have students living with them in their homes once again.

We will also be delighted to see the smiling faces of the students that come to us with their schools for our ministay programme.Students come to us for one week with their teachers to experience life with an Irish family and learn about the cultural differences between Ireland and their country and also make some friends along the way.

We can't wait to see you all again in person but in the meantime all of our classes are online with native professional teachers.
